Health and care partners and people with lived experience of cancer are working together to improve the wellbeing of people in Gloucestershire, reducing the risk of developing cancer, improving early diagnosis and supporting people affected by the disease to live with the impacts.

The Gloucestershire Cancer Patient Reference Group is a group of people with lived experience of cancer. It is an advisory group to the Cancer Clinical Programme Group. This makes sure that patients and carers are involved in shaping and influencing plans, strategies and services, and that the perspectives of patients and carers are heard and considered.
