Our team are supporting the Consultation activities for Fit for the Future and are keen to hear your views.  

We advise the CCG on ways to actively engage our local community; seek feedback on services, plans and proposals; and ensure that the CCG complies with current legislation relating to engagement and equality.

There will then be a consultation review period, where NHS Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will carefully consider all of the feedback at meetings in public in January 2021.

The feedback received during the Consultation will be reviewed and used to inform the production of a formal business case for the hospital, which lays out the rationale for the hospital, the design, specification and financial plan for building and operating it. 

The final business case to build the new hospital will need approval from the Board of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust before it can progress.
