Taking the national idea of the three ‘shifts’ in the 10 Year Health Plan we want to think about how together we can meet our local challenges. We want to start a new conversation in Gloucestershire NOW! covering:

  • Neighbourhood health and care
  • Online, digital and technology
  • Wellbeing, prevention and maintaining health independence

We will use your feedback and ideas to shape local plans. Our feedback survey has now closed and we are currently analysing the responses received - thank you to everyone who participated.

We have collected your views on principles developed with input from local people and communities 10 years ago. Those principles have guided us well, informing the way we develop services to this day.

We asked if these principles still hold true to help guide the development of health and care services and support for the future. Has anything changed in that time and do people and communities have ideas on how we, individuals and communities, could do things differently?

We also asked for your views on the immediate priorities for the NHS in Gloucestershire and thoughts on how the NHS should develop over the next 5 years.

On the right of this page you'll find:

  • Further information in the engagement booklet
  • Opportunities to chat with NHS representatives, or collect a paper copy of the engagement booklet, at one of the events listed
  • Links to the national Fit for the Future - 10 year Health Plan for England

We are currently reviewing all of the feedback received and will publish our Output of Engagement Report on this page in due course.
