Diabetes is a serious condition where your blood glucose (sugar) level is too high. It can happen when your body doesn’t produce enough insulin, or when you can’t produce any at all.
There are two main types of diabetes: Type 1 and Type 2. They’re different conditions, caused by different things, but they are both serious and need to be treated and managed properly. Diabetes UK have a helpful video:

The Diabetes team has been out and about around Gloucestershire during Diabetes Week 2023! They've been sharing information, offering people the chance to find out more about their risk of developing diabetes, and letting them know about the support that is available to reduce that risk.
