Talk to the team - public drop-in events

Unfortunately due to new Covid-19 restrictions introduced from Thursday 5th November, we have had to cancel the Information Bus Dates originally planned for November 2020.

During the lockdown, we will continue to make every effort to promote the consultation/s across the county in other ways.

We have planned additional dates in early December 2020, although these may be subject to further change if the lockdown is extended beyond 2 December 2020. Our drop-in events run between 10am and 2pm. We hope that you will be able to drop-in to one of the following:

  • Tuesday 1st December, Chepstow Community Hospital
  • Saturday 5th December, Newerne St Car Park, Lydney
  • Friday 11th December, Coleford Clock Tower

Events which have already taken place:

  • Tuesday 3rd November, Cinderford Co-op.

Cuppa and Chat (online)

Covering both the Forest Hospital and the Fit for the Future Consultation, these events have been organised to support our Information Bus visits. We’ve arranged some “locality based” sessions and a couple of countywide events.  Email glccg.gig@nhs.net to book a place on these MS Teams on these events and receive the link.  You can post questions via this email too, or use the discussion forum on Get Involved in Gloucestershire.

  • 24 November, 3-4pm                  Forest of Dean
  • 8 December, 3-4pm                    Fit for the Future – All localities
  • 9 December, 10-11am                Forest of Dean Community Hospital – All localities

For details of other Fit for the Future events, please visit our project pages.

Other ways to get involved

There are other ways to share your views on our proposals.

  • Phone us: if you’d like to have a chat over the phone, call Freephone 0800 0151 548.  Please leave a message and someone will call you back and arrange a convenient time to talk.
  • Request a copy of the booklet: we’d be happy to send copies of the booklets in the post. Just give us a call on the number above or email glccg.gig@nhs.net to make a request. We also have Easy Read copies available.

Help us gather views from as many people as possible.  Tell your friends and neighbours how they can get in touch, or request copies of the booklet to give to them.
