You may well have heard that the Health and Care Bill has now been presented in the Houses of Parliament and continues its legislative journey.

The legislation will pave the way for the creation of a new statutory NHS Body - an Integrated Care Board. If voted through, our new Integrated Care Board will replace the Clinical Commissioning Group from July 2022 and be known as NHS Gloucestershire.

NHS Gloucestershire will work hand in glove with the Integrated Care Partnership known as One Gloucestershire Health and Wellbeing Partnership. This will formalise the partnership which already exists in Gloucestershire between health, social care, public health and other public, voluntary and community sector partners.

Developing our website

In order to make this information accessible and digestible for the public we will be developing a new website, replacing www.gloucestershireccg.nhs.uk and www.onegloucestershire.net It's important that the new website for NHS Gloucestershire provides information that is easy to access, relevant and helpful for people accessing health and care services in the county.

As a NHS organisation, there are certain things that we must make available on our website, but we'd also like to hear your views about the kind of information you want to see. Your ideas on layout and design are also valuable.

Our feedback survey is now closed, but if you would like to join our online discussion group on Wednesday 4 May, 6pm please contact us asap.

We need to change our existing websites to reflect the new Integrated Care System for Gloucestershire. Although there is clear national guidance about some of the content we need to include, we're keen to hear your views and ideas for any new sites.
