Gloucestershire Patient Participation Group Network meeting, 29 September 2023

The Gloucestershire PPG Network met on 29 September. PPG members from across the county joined online.

The discussions included

• Recruitment, selection and retention of staff, introduced by Tracey Cox, Director of People, Culture & Engagement, NHS Gloucestershire and Kate Usher, Head of Primary Care Workforce Development, NHS Gloucestershire - link to presentation here
• Involvement in the procurement panel for a digital Patient Portal at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust: feedback on the process from Patient Participation Group representatives
• Healthwatch Gloucestershire project on access to GP services, introduced by Suzie Compton, Engagement Officer, Healthwatch Gloucestershire
• Friends and Family Test Quality Improvement project, introduced by Jennifer Skillen, Expert by Experience, Marit Endresen, Patient Survey Manager, Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and Jenny Smith, Quality Improvement Manager, Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust - link to presentation here
