Patient Participation Group Network meeting, 15 January 2026

The Gloucestershire Patient Participation Group Network met on Thursday 15 January, online. Discussions included:

• Training, recruiting and retaining staff in GP services; and alternatives to the ‘partnership model’ for GP services mentioned in the NHS 10 Year Plan introduced by Dr Laura Halden, Clinical Chair, Gloucestershire Primary Care Training Hub. Members also shared their experiences of making links with particular communities in their area, to understand their experiences of using their surgery; about waiting lists for young people in need of mental health support; activities to support people to download and use the NHS App; and about the use of AI in GP surgeries.
